Christian Insurance is proud to partner with the following faith-based, Australian registered charities. Now your insurance can support charities, with 10% of annual Christian Insurance premiums for Life and Travel given to registered projects through our charity partners.
Christian Insurance works hard in the due diligence selection of charities, to ensure a percentage of your annual premium only goes to charities whose projects meet a high standard. Christian Insurance has partnered with six key charities: Compassion Australia, Hope:Global, The A21 Campaign, Hillsong CityCare, AngliCare and Bible Society Australia.
With your support a Christian Life Insurance policy, over your lifetime, can assist with the building of clean drinking water projects in Brazil. Bible Society Australia engages people with the Word of God and provides them with the Bible in a language they can understand, in a format they can use, and at a price they can afford or for free.
Did you know there are over 6,800 world languages and only 563 of those have full Bibles? In fact, Bible demand outstrips supply in numerous countries, particularly in the poorest regions or most hostile environments, and within areas that are considered "unprofitable" by the standards of the modern business world.
The mission of Bible Society Australia is to translate, publish, distribute and engage people with the Bible. This mission, which we have pursued for 200 years, is effectively wrapped around our core purpose to achieve the widest possible, effective and meaningful distribution of the Bible. Alongside this, we help people engage with the Bible, and its message of unconditional love, in partnership with churches from all denominations. This is a purpose we share with nearly 150 Bible Societies across more than 200 countries and territories. Help us continue to bring light to those who need it. #livelight
The mission of HOPE: Education is to give quality education to children in post conflict countries, by developing quality teachers and schooling to help children determine their own future.
Millions of children across the world do not have access to a quality education yet it is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and unlocking an individual's and country's potential for growth. Your support will allow teachers and NGO staff in developing countries to access training programs via the HOPE: Education project and enable more children to receive a quality education, helping them reach their full potential.
HOPE: Global is a faith-based not-for-profit organisation that aims to restore hope and justice to countries devastated by war, genocide and poverty. HOPE is a global initiative uniting churches, business leaders, schools, organisations and individuals from all over the world to offer practical solutions to poverty.
Our goal for humanity is simple: freedom.
It is estimated that there are currently more than 27 million men, women and children in bondage across the globe today. Human trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the world, generating over US$ 150 Billion every year.
Your support means that we are able to prevent modern day slavery through education and awareness, protect and restore the lives of human trafficking victims, prosecute traffickers, and partner with governmental agencies and community members to see injustice abolished.
A21 is a global counter-trafficking organization dedicated to fighting slavery in the 21st century. We have 10 offices in 9 countries, with aftercare facilities in Greece and Bulgaria. Through external victim assistance, we also provide services to survivors of human trafficking in other countries such as Thailand, and ensure that they are supported and their needs are met.
Hillsong CityCare is a church based not for profit organisation that aims to strengthen families, empower young people, and foster social inclusion through the delivery of sustainable programs and community impacting projects.
One of our key programs is Street Teams which is about building relationships with people living in our backyard through visitations, practical support, community events and sports. Our heart is to play an active role in helping to establish healthy communities. We also offer services to schools through our Shine and Strength personal development programs that help young people to discover their personal value, resilience and unlock their potential. We advocate to disarm bullying through The String Movement and also offer one-on-one or group mentoring support and scripture classes to students. Our annual projects are Kilo of Kindness at Easter and Stuff the Bus at Christmas. Through Kilo of Kindness we run a food drive to help stock our Emergency Relief food banks and Stuff the Bus is about empowering parents facing a tough season to give gifts to their children and celebrate around a Christmas meal.
